Happy April Fools' day to one and all~~~  (kinda crappy)

I was quite amazed by how young ppl can adapt to a new life... obviously I am very used to the laid-back lifestyle alr... the hectic Singapore style is far far away behind me....

Up to now, i think the biggest satisfaction to me is tt I ve met lots of diff ppl, from diff walks of life... afterall, i guess tt s the ultimate purpose of coming to paris... i always believe there is a story behind every single person, and I always have great interest in those stories as they could be real eye-openers. (or maybe simply coz of the busy-body nature of gals... well, nvm)

Recently, i met a staff in my residence and he turned out to be the type which we called "still water runs deep". He used to be a writer and a DJ, coz he told too much truth and he got himself into trouble. In the end, he came to Paris as political refugee and chose to work in an international residence coz of his language barrier. It came as quite a shock to me....u know.. never judge a book by its cover... guess this is the best proof...

Then I met a bunch of Chinese gals who came to paris since young-- very well-known "Wen zhou" ppl. Having heard their stories, I really have great respect for them... I wouldnt imagine myself going through all those... they call themselves "the Jews of China", I gotta say, they have their pt.

I always consider myself as one of the "elderly" among my peers in Singapore, yet here, i guess i am the youngest..hoho... There r plenty of PHDs, post-doc, or even Prof in my French class... I am not really used to have lessons with married ppl or ppl with kids... hmmm... c'est bizarre...

Well, overall, it has been quite interesting experience here... Looking forward to the Swiss trip, despite all the hitcups...
